About

Leaf & Sky features art and design to promote awareness of the importance of biodiversity. We make products that inform and encourage people to connect with the ecosystems within their reach — to inspire people to practice new methods of conservation. Here we are in our yard in Kansas City, Missouri where we are constantly adding native plants to provide habitat for pollinators.

Of vital importance is the sustaining process of pollination. We focus on promoting plants native to North America as the basis for supporting native bees and other pollinators. Our exclusive collection of surface pattern designs are featured on a variety of accessories, home goods and stationery goods. We make high-quality nesting houses for solitary bees, as well as houses and feeders for birds, bat houses & butterfly houses. We source recycled paper and hemp paper where possible and choose natural materials for our packaging, such as cellophane made of plants. Our fabrics are printed in the United States — some are organic with organic inks, some are printed with eco-friendly inks. The printing of stationery and sewing of textile products are done in Kansas City — unless we offer a special product collaboration for which we will specifically list where it was sewn.
